Can you believe March is almost over? I figured since April is a mere day away, now would be a great talk to have another natural hair chat. Come on, y’all… Let’s Talk Tresses!
I will admit it. If money was no object, I would be a total product junkie. Unfortunately for me, I don’t got it like that financially. But if I DID… I’d grab up every new product on the market that caught my eye. The thought made me imagine what I’d do if someone offered me $1,000 to spend on natural hair products (and maybe a nice lunch after my shopping spree). This lead me to think about the EXACT products I would buy. And of course, it inspired this post. So… do you want to know what I’d buy?!?
This product is not one I am unfamiliar with. I received a sample of the Madam C.J. Walker Beauty Culture Scent & Shine Brassica Seed Oil in a recent Influenster Vox Box, and was quickly hooked. When that sample ran out, I was DEEPLY in my feelings about it. I miss obsessively smelling my hair, and seeing it shine. This is precisely why it’s the first on my list.
I love everything Oyin Handmade makes. Although I haven’t had the opportunity to try Boing! All-in-One Coil Styler yet, but based on my experience with the brand, I’m sure I will love it. Because I’d like doing more wash-n-go’s this year, I think this styler could be the perfect tool to use.
Camille Rose Naturals is a brand I have very little experience with, and I think it’s high time I correct that. With so many products available in their line, I settled on the Cocoa Nibs & Honey Ultimate Growth Serum, because I’m all about a good hair oil. I think this oil would especially come in handy should I opt to take a BRAID-cation this year.
Admittedly, the idea of putting something called Moco De Gorilla Punk Squizz in my hair doesn’t sound very intriguing. But I’ve heard so many rave reviews of the line from much of the natural hair community, I’m eager to try it.
When I found out that Carol’s Daughter had come out with a Rhassoul Clay Collection, I completely lost it. My hair is in love with rhassoul, and I’d love to incorporate it into my regular wash day routine. I bet the health and strength of my hair would increase significantly.
